Why a Portuguese MSP needs a website in five languages
When an international company opens operations in Portugal, the person who decides on the IT supplier is rarely in Lisbon. They are at a headquarters in Geneva, Tel Aviv, London or New York — and they evaluate suppliers in English, with security policies written in English and a global IT department that wants to understand, in their own language, who they will be talking to.
That is our day-to-day life for several years. A deliberate position: Portugal, international and premium
Portugal has become one of Europe's preferred destinations for setting up operations — tech, shared services, healthcare, education, official representations. What has not kept pace with this movement is the IT supply: most local providers work in Portuguese, for the national market, with processes designed for those in the same city.
