The CEO of DataRoad brought Ubiquiti from the United States to Portugal. Today there are more than 230 sites with redundancy and more than 1200 CCTV antennas and devices.
It all started with a decision by the CEO of DataRoad: to bring Ubiquiti from the United States to Portugal, in a local project. What was then a little-known bet on the national market became the basis for hundreds of business networks that DataRoad plans, installs, and manages.

The CEO's experience behind the project
Quando trouxe a Ubiquiti para Portugal em 2015, o CEO da DataRoad já tinha elevada experiência em projetos de redes e servidores, assim como o suporte IT Empresarial. Passou pela direção técnica de uma empresa multinacional de segurança informática em Portugal e pelo IT Consulting da HP Portugal, e participou em projetos como a construção de marketplaces e em grupos como a CUF e a Sonae, trabalhando em conjunto com empresas como a SAP e a Microsoft entre outros.
He also has experience in integrating IT solutions, having worked for two IT distributors in Portugal that represented some of the world's largest brands, and holds various technical certifications from different manufacturers. It is this background that gives DataRoad the criteria to choose, integrate, and support the right technology in each company.
