Switching IT providers

Switching IT Companies Without Downtime — and Without Depending on Your Old Provider

Passwords only the provider knows, undocumented servers, fear of stopping the business mid-migration. That is why so many companies keep postponing the decision. With a structured transition plan, switching IT providers happens without interruptions — and in the end, everything that is yours is finally in your hands.

Signs it is time to switch

Replies that take days

You call, you insist, you forward the email “just as a reminder”. When asking for support becomes a job in itself, the problem is not you — it is your provider.

Surprise invoices

Every intervention is a new quote and your monthly IT cost is a lottery. Predictability exists: it is called a fixed monthly plan.

An undocumented network

Nobody knows exactly what is installed, where the licences are or how to restore a backup. That is not IT management — it is faith.

Everything depends on one person

“Only Mr. X knows about that.” When knowledge lives in someone’s head, that person’s holidays are an operational risk.

Zero visibility

No reports, no history, no idea of what was done and why. You pay every month, but you cannot prove what you get.

Neglected security

Backups nobody tests, overdue updates, no managed protection. It usually goes fine — until the day it doesn’t.

“But my current provider holds everything...”

It is the most common fear — and it can be solved. The credentials, licences, domain and data belong to your company, not to the provider. Our transition includes a structured process for collecting access and documentation, handled professionally with the previous provider.

And when the old provider does not cooperate? There is still a path: we perform an independent technical survey and execute a controlled access reset, system by system, without stopping your operation. We have done it many times — it is a matter of method, not luck.

How we handle the transition, step by step

1

Audit and survey

A complete inventory: equipment, servers, licences, credentials, contracts and risks. You learn exactly what you have — many companies discover surprises here.

2

Transition plan

A clear calendar with responsibilities and out-of-hours work windows when needed. The goal is fixed: zero downtime for your operation.

3

Access and documentation handover

Passwords, licences, domain, email, backups and configurations move into a digital vault your company has access to. What is yours stays yours.

4

Gradual migration

Monitoring, management tools and security run in parallel with what exists, with tests before any cut-off. Nothing is switched off without a working alternative.

5

Go-live with reinforced support

In the first weeks, extra attention: your users learn the new support channels and get fast answers from day one.

When is the best time to switch?

Any time — the transition runs in parallel, and nothing is switched off before its time. If you have a contract with a lock-in period, we analyse the dates with you and prepare everything so the change happens on the day the contract ends, without a single day left uncovered. The duration depends on the size of the infrastructure: typically a few weeks, with the plan and dates set at the initial audit.

  • 11+ years of operation and documented success stories across several sectors.
  • Our own certified team — we never outsource your support.
  • Written SLAs from day one, with reports that prove compliance.
  • No lock-in — if you ever want to leave, your documentation and credentials are already in your possession. That is the difference.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the transition take?

It depends on the size of the infrastructure — typically a few weeks. The plan sets dates and responsibilities from the start, and your operation never stops during the process.

Will I lose data or email in the move?

No. Nothing is switched off before the alternative is tested and working. Backups are validated before any migration, and mailboxes move with their full history.

Do I have to confront my current provider?

You don’t need to. We’ll handle the technical communication with the previous provider professionally. All you need to do is formally terminate the contract — we’ll tell you what to check and how far in advance.

What if my current provider does not cooperate?

It happens — and there is a solution. We run an independent survey and a controlled access reset, system by system. Your company regains control of what is yours.

Does the transition have costs?

It depends on the state of the infrastructure and what needs to be migrated. You receive a clear quote before anything starts — no surprises, like everything else in our model.
