It was in order to mitigate this reality and encourage the creation of a virtuous cycle in the Portuguese economy that the Commitment to Punctual Payment (CCP) initiative was created.
The CCP is a joint initiative of ACEGE (Associação Cristã de Empresários e Gestores), IAPMEI (Agência para a Criatividade e Inovação), CIP (Confederação Empresarial de Portugal), APIFARMA (Associação Portuguesa da Indústria Farmacêutica), Caixa Geral de Depósitos, OCC (Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados) and Informa D&B.
This initiative now has more than 2,000 companies and organizations from all over the country. With this recognition, ESCO is taking an active part in a culture of paying suppliers on time.
